These Terms govern your use of the Televis application on Samsung (Tizen), LG (Webos) and Android TV devices, and of the Televis website at televis.app.

The Service is provided by Bora Dan, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Televis", "we", "us"). By installing or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

What Televis is — and what it is not

Televis is a media player. It plays media from a playlist that you supply, using your own credentials from your own provider.

Televis does not provide, host, upload, stream, sell, resell, index or distribute any channel, film, series or other content. We have no relationship with your provider, we do not verify what a provider offers, we do not know what is in your playlist, and we take no position on whether any particular content is lawfully available to you. We supply software; the content, its legality, its quality and its availability are entirely between you and your provider.

We also do not sell playlists, subscriptions or access to content, and we are not affiliated with any content or streaming provider. Anyone offering you "Televis with channels included" is not us.

What it costs

Televis is free to use. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no advertising, and we never ask you for payment details. If we ever introduce a paid feature, we will update these Terms and say so in the app before it takes effect.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and legally able to enter into an agreement of this kind. If you use the Service on behalf of a household, you are responsible for everyone who uses it on your device.

Your account key

The Service has no username and no password. The first time you start using the app, your TV generates a random 8-character account key. That key identifies your account and your playlists.

- Keep it private. Anyone who knows it can view and change your playlists.

- Keep it safe. It is shown in the app and it is the only way to move your account to another TV.

- If you lose it, we cannot recover it for you, because we hold no e-mail address or other identifier tied to it. Write it down.

You are responsible for all activity carried out with your account key.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Televis only with playlists and content that you are lawfully entitled to access. You must not:

- use the Service to access, share or promote content you have no right to access,

- circumvent geographical, technical or contractual restrictions, or use the Service to help others do so,

- share, publish, resell or trade your account key, or use one key across unrelated households,

- interfere with our servers or with the services we depend on,

- reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the application, except to the extent this cannot lawfully be prohibited,

- automate, scrape, overload or otherwise abuse our servers or our third-party providers, or deliberately exceed their rate limits,

- use the Service in any way that breaks the law where you are.

We may suspend or terminate an account key that breaches this section.

Third-party services and content

The Service depends on services we do not control: your streaming provider, TMDB for artwork, OpenSubtitles for subtitles, Supabase for hosting, and the app store on your device. Their terms apply to their part of the experience. We do not warrant their availability, accuracy or continuity, and subtitle or artwork data supplied by third parties may be incomplete, inaccurate or mismatched.

Trademarks, artwork and titles shown in the app belong to their respective owners. TMDB artwork is used under TMDB's terms; Televis is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Copyright complaints

We host no content, so there is nothing on our servers for us to take down. If you believe the Service is being used to infringe your rights, write to pikselmatik.dev@gmail.com with the details. We will act on what is within our control — for example, terminating the account key of a user who is clearly abusing the Service — and we will direct you to the provider actually distributing the content.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the application on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights in the Televis software, name, logo and interface remain ours. Commercial redistribution — including preloading Televis onto devices sold to third parties, or bundling it with a content subscription — requires our written permission.

Availability, updates and discontinuation

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update, change, suspend or remove features to keep the Service secure, lawful and maintainable, including features you rely on. If we permanently discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice through the app or televis.app.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app, and you may ask us to delete your account and playlists as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation would expose us to legal risk. The sections on what Televis is, third-party content, licence, disclaimer, liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or that the Service will work with any given provider.

Playback quality, channel availability, catalogue contents, programme guide accuracy, subtitle availability and archive features depend on your provider, your device and your internet connection. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived by contract.

Limitation of liabilit

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of content access, however caused.

The Service is provided free of charge, so our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to it is limited to EUR 50.

This section does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or of applicable law, including any claim relating to the content you access through your provider.

Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms. The effective date reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced in the app or on televis.app before they take effect; continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, stop using the Service and uninstall the app.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought before the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
