These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Televis (the “App”) and televis.app (the “Website”). By using Televis, you agree to these Terms.

 

1) Televis is a player, not a content provider

 

Televis is a media player application. Televis does not host, provide, upload, or distribute any TV channels, movies, series, or other media content.

 

You are responsible for the playlists and content sources you add. You must have the rights and authorization to access and stream that content.

 

2) Your responsibilities

 

You agree that you will not use Televis to:

  • Access content without authorization.
  • Bypass technical restrictions or security measures.
  • Distribute, promote, or facilitate illegal content sources.
  • Abuse or disrupt the service (including automated attacks on activation or restore systems).

 

We may suspend or block access to features or playlists that appear to violate laws, rights, or platform policies.

 

3) Device linking, recovery, and identifiers

 

Televis uses device linking to associate your TV with your playlists and Premium status.

  • We may use device identifiers and technical data, including MAC address where available, for linking, security, and abuse prevention.
  • Televis may provide a recovery key to restore your setup if the app is reinstalled or device data is reset.
  • You are responsible for keeping your recovery key private.

 

4) Plans, trial, and Premium

 

Televis may offer a free trial and paid Premium plans.

  • Trial: If offered, the trial provides temporary access to Premium features. After the trial, your access may revert to the Basic plan unless you purchase Premium.
  • Premium: Premium unlocks additional features such as multiple playlists, expanded favorites, advanced sorting, subtitle styling, and parental controls.
  • Feature availability may vary by device model, OS, region, and provider data.

 

5) Payments

 

Premium payments are completed on the Website and may be processed by a third party payment processor (for example, Stripe).

 

We may offer:

  • Monthly subscription
  • Yearly subscription
  • Lifetime purchase (one time payment)

 

Taxes may apply depending on your region.

 

6) Renewals and cancellation

 

For subscription plans:

  • They may renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • You can cancel to prevent future renewals. Access typically continues until the end of the current billing period.

 

For lifetime purchase:

  • It does not renew.

 

7) Refund policy

 

Refund rules depend on plan type and local laws. Unless required otherwise by law, our default policy is:

 

Monthly and yearly subscriptions

  • You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
  • We generally do not provide partial refunds for a billing period that has already started.

 

Lifetime purchase

  • Refund requests may be reviewed case by case.
  • If granted, refunds may be limited to a short window after purchase and may be denied if Premium has been meaningfully used.

 

Chargebacks and abuse

  • We may deny refunds if we detect abuse, repeated refund requests inconsistent with normal usage, or fraudulent activity.
  • Chargebacks may result in loss of Premium access.

 

To request a refund, contact support@televis.app and include your payment reference and device or activation details.

 

8) Third party content and services

 

Your playlists and streams come from third parties. Televis is not responsible for:

  • Content availability, quality, legality, or accuracy.
  • Provider downtime, changes, or access restrictions.
  • Metadata issues (posters, descriptions, ratings) provided by third parties.

 

9) Disclaimer

 

Televis is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We make no warranties that the app will be uninterrupted or error free.

 

10) Limitation of liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Televis will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim related to Televis will not exceed the amount you paid to Televis in the twelve months before the claim.

 

11) Termination

 

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required to comply with law or platform rules. You may stop using Televis at any time.

 

12) Changes to these Terms

 

We may update these Terms. We will update the effective date and may provide notice for material changes.
